| Mine and Bobs military finalization.....
Im going in as an 88 MIKE (Truck Driver)
Here are the dates:
March 23rd- March 30th: Reception
March 31st- June 1st: Basic Combat Training
JUNE 1ST: FAMILY DAY
JUNE 2ND: GRADUATION
June 2nd- July 18th: AIT (Advanced Individual Training)
JULY 18TH: GRADUATION
My particular MOS (Military Occupation Specialty) contributed this to my life (Bank account)
* Sign-on Bonus: 20,000 dollars
*** $10,000 of which I will get upon my graduation from AIT
*** $5,000 in 2 years
*** $5,000 in 4 years
(Tyler got $10,000 overall.... hehe)
* Loan Payback Program: $20,000 paid back to schools I owe money now and schools I will owe in the future
* Montgomery GI Bill: $297 a month as long as I am enrolled as a full time student
* Montgomery GI Bill Kicker: $350 added onto the GI Bill as long as I am enrolled full time
* Basic Training and AIT Pay-Rate: $1427.40 a month
* Reserve Drill Pay-Rate: $178.36 a month
All of that, of course, they will tax the CRAP (poopy) out of.
